How do we collect this information?

How do we use this information?

Sellers, we use the information you provide us to personalize your experience on the platform.

Buyers, we use the information you provide us by going through the user flow in order to match you with companies that provide clean energy solutions, which requires us to share your organization and some of your preferences with those companies. We will ask your permission before sharing your name, email address, and/or phone number.

For both groups of users, we use your data as the basis of your account on the Station A platform. As we add more features and services, you will have access to your account information through the platform. You will eventually be able to view, update, and delete this information. Today, if you wish to perform any of these actions, please contact us directly.

Station A may use your email address, organization, account type, and name to alert you to new Station A features. We are expressly allowed to send you these types of electronic communications, though we will always strive to make them relevant, interesting, infrequent, and brief. We may also use your information in aggregate for internal analyses of the geographic and industry landscape of our user base.

Station A may use your data to evaluate and improve internal algorithms. For example, expressed interests in products may one day serve as training data for a model that predicts customer appetite for different clean energy solutions. We may use data that you provide to train estimation models, which produce results that other users can see.

Station A uses your IP address, browser model, and operating system in order to learn how to optimize our products to our users and for our own security monitoring, to protect ourselves from malicious actors.

How do we secure your information?

How do we share your information with third parties?

Sellers, we do not currently have any features through which we will expose any of your information to other users. We may introduce features that make your presence on the platform known in the future, in which case we will notify you of that change.

Buyers, as stated above, we share your business/organization name, any addresses you express interest in, and any products that you express interest in with third party clean energy companies so that they can provide clean energy product offerings to you. We will ask your permission to connect you with these companies, and may share your name, email address, and/or phone number with them if you instruct us to.

How do we use cookies?

We use cookies to track your session so that your data will persist if you refresh the page or navigate away and come back.

How long do we retain information?

Given that the energy system is constantly changing, and new products are continually being brought to market, clean energy opportunities may arise for you at some point in the future. As such, Station A retains user data in perpetuity until you ask that Station A delete it.

How will we notify you of changes to this policy?
